What a night! Arrived early into Salerno, and went straight to ticket office for rebooking
Told no trains to Palermo today, I point at the departure board showing a IC to Palermo. Guy makes a phone call and ticket re-issued! 🙄
Time for 9 long hours on this IC including train ferry! (Hopefully) 🚂🇮🇹

Things that didn't age well: Our train has been canceled at its first stop Piacenza. We're all put on the ICN to Salerno, however that means no train ferry. What a disappointment 😔😔

Finally got to try out DSB's new Talgo carriages this morning!
I have lots to say about them in the future video, but the main thing: I was surprised how smooth riding they were!
Departed 1h late from Copenhagen due to technical issues, which seems to be very common atm, stuff for Talgo to fix...

LCR must be the only train company in the world to run sleepers despite not operating a single overnight train.
Also no photos allowed of the locomotive, with staff dedicated to make sure no one goes anywhere near the front. At least you can take pictures of the 1000+ identical ones in China...🙄🇱🇦

It's a pain to book and the station locations aren't great. But man the China-Laos railway is nice!
I'm traveling business class (2 kinds, randomly allocated) from Luang Prabang to Vientiane today. Price? 40 euro for the 2 hour journey.
Very expensive for locals, but a real treat for this trip 🚄🇱🇦

Made it to Beijing after a comfortable ride from Shanghai in the new ish Premium first class product! 1000km in 4h30m mostly at 350 km/h is really impressive 🚄💨🇨🇳

It's a bit bonkers seeing them being so similar on the inside, yet this is a 16 carriage 250 km/h high speed train going 1700km across the country to Chongqing
