This is Jerry Lawson. He invented the video game cartridge for the Fairchild Channel F system. Because of his invention, many consoles had cartridges and CD formats and would become the norm.
The Atari 2600, NES, Genesis, and many consoles wouldn't exist without him.

They look so modern it’s incredible to think they were made by Bronze Age potters some 3,800 years ago!
Known as Kamares Ware, these luxury Minoan ceramics were made in palace workshops. From Phaistos, Crete.

I think in Rep McBride's desire not to have her gender be the focus of her work in the House, we may be wasting an opportunity to demonstrate early in the game that we consider trans people worth spending the political capital on.
Personally I would rather see Democratic reps say "We make up the majority of women in this body and we will make it really uncomfortable for anyone who harasses Rep McBride in the bathroom." It seems like passing up an opportunity to show ordinary cis lady Democrats at home how they can intervene.
This isn't a good strategy when the distraction works. You actually need a damn coherent response or they will just continue to dig in on this as Harris learned the hard way.
