Most popular costumes in my neighborhood were variations of “6-7” and Kpop demon hunters (?). I almost cried when I saw a kid dressed as a good ol’ classic pirate with a gray plastic sword.

Let Emma Watson serve as an example that radical empathy is not the morally superior absolution it is framed to be. You cannot empathize with hate.
