While our whole field has been experiencing undeserved turmoil, a few of us have been fortunate enough to receive positive news on funding. This link describes positions that are now open in the Fay Lab. Perhaps some who’ve been displaced can find a home with us. 1/2

Congratulations Dr. Inna Nikonorova @inikon.bsky.social on her new @pkdfoundation.bsky.social grant, which is an amazing patient-advocacy and patient-funded research award mechanism. #adpkd #cilia #extracellularvesicles #celegans

Excited to share that I've been awarded a research grant from @pkdfoundation.bsky.social to advance our work on polycystin signaling via extracellular vesicles in C. elegans, with the goal of uncovering new mechanisms relevant to polycystic kidney disease. #cilia #extracellularvesicles

The Barr Lab welcomed back PhD alum Dr. Deanna De Vore and her 40 juniors from Passaic County Technical-Vocational Schools.

IRACDA postdoc @katiejacobs.bsky.social led this all-hands-on-deck lab field day, which also included a Rutgers campus tour. These bright, young scholars are our future!

Just out! We used C. elegans to trace the cargo of ciliary EVs and found that their loading is a regulated process involving polycystins. @barrlab.bsky.social communities.springernature.com/posts/tiny-m...
