There's the term "Enshittification:" products decay over time. Almost always to allow companies to make more money (e.g. via ads etc.)

We need a term for "AI enshittification." Where AI functionality is added: that degrades the product experience.

Except the company now makes LESS money on it!!

Everything good that happened in my writing career happened because someone, normally another writer, helped me. Suggested me for something, put in a good word, and so on. The idea was always that you help others and they help others in their turn. It's not a win or lose game.
