❌No porn, furry, bara, dicks, *nsur/an/or, gith (except for Ayumu!).
❌❌DNI the Emperor's haters.
Xal is stubborn, straightforward, sharp-tongued, rude, sadistic, masochistic and not at all sweet and soft, and that's why I love him so much.
I love how he laughs mockingly with his bleeding soul at all the shit he's been through, even if that shit is still holding a knife to his artery.

The Emperor became the one who motivated me to write Xal, so no, I created Xal only after bg3 was released and only for bg3&Emp.
But I don't deny that Xal MAY appear in some other story of mine in the Forgotten Realms setting as a minor character.

I tried many times to watch Got&HotD and read books, but each time I gave up.

I already wrote this, so I'll just copy it.
1. Xal was born with long claws. It was inconvenient, yes, but there was nothing he could do about it. Trimming his claws did not help, because they would grow back to their usual length within minutes.

Xal is not a good dancer, he is a magnificent dancer.
Dancing is his way of saying what he cannot or does not want to say in any other way.

The main idea behind this playlist was Xal's feelings, not how he looks or what role he plays in society, but what he feels deep inside himself.
Of course, not all of the tracks is about that, but the vast majority definitely is.

Xal hates all deities without exception. He does not consider them worthy of respect and worship, but he especially hates his father, Bhaal, because it is personal.
He hopes that one day someone angry enough will come along to tear Bhaal to pieces and scatter them across all universes.

- I don't know who or what the Nightsong is. I'm here to organize my thoughts and make them a little less chaotic.
The darkness of Underdark calms me in a way. I need healing, even if it's not quite what this place can offer me.

Xal's intelligence is 25+, and it would be strange for an Illithid to have less, lol.
But from my story perspective... he's not an idiot in most cases.
He may understand that he's about to do something idiotic, possibly the most idiotic thing in his life, and he'll do it anyway,

What?
Don't bother me.
Did I say something unclear?
Are you always this slow-witted, or just with me?
May I break your fingers one by one?
Though, cutting your artery would be more pleasant.
Dumb twat.

Xal acknowledges that snow is beautiful and peaceful in a way, but he nevertheless hates it because it brings back painful memories. Once he wanted to see the real snow with his own eyes, now he tries not to stare at it for too long.

Xal's voice is 5, voiced by Neil Roberts. Neil is an amazing actor and has an amazing voice. I can't imagine Xal with any other voice.
Xal has a strong Slavic accent, as he grew up in Damara, and I associate Damara with a mix of Slavic countries and cultures.

Any divine spell.
Firstly, he is incapable of obtaining/learning any of them, as he considers gods to be worthless scum, and oaths to be nonsense.
Secondly, even if he could, he would never learn or obtain them, because interacting with divine magic causes him discomfort and even pain.

Xal did not undergo any trials; he did not care about Shadowheart or what she wanted or did not want. She was his pawn in battle, and an empty space the rest of the time.
Xal teleported directly down to the door and opened it with a spell.

I missed that line.

Clothing:
Orange, green, white, light grey, light red... Not his style at all.
Fuchsia, bright purple colours. I literally start to feel nauseous when I look at them for too long, so... I don't like them. I try to avoid them in real life and in the game.
Xal doesn't like them either. 😔

Funny, but I'm waiting for this module more than I ever waited for bg3, lol.

Xal loves animals and does not usually harm them, but he may do so if his life or the lives of those dear to him depend on it. He has priorities and he always follows them.
Xal doesn't care about humanoids; killing children or blowing up half the city if necessary is no problem for him.
