Title: he speaks a silent prayer Author: incalamity Summary: Eddie keeps his bottom lip between his teeth when Steve isn't keeping his mouth busy with something else. It's pretty sexy, at least Steve likes to think so. He likes watching a moan start crawling up Eddie's throat only for him to sink his canines into his lip hard enough to break skin. But he also thinks he'll like whatever noise Eddie might make even if his lip isn't between his teeth all the time. He just likes hearing Eddie. Eddie is quiet during sex. A while has passed since they started seeing each other, and Eddie still hasn't made much of a noise other than a gasp or a sigh. So, Steve makes it a point to try and wring anything else out. He gets close sometimes. He'll press his fingers down in the right spot and Eddie will drop his jaw, but it's like he realizes what's happening and he snaps his mouth shut. He'll get the angle just right when he's flush against Eddie's ass and Eddie will breathe with a hitch, but just before he makes any sort of noise, he shoves his face into a pillow. Eddie's a vocal guy, has been since Steve was aware of him all the way back in middle school. He sings and he narrates and he protests. His voice is a source of power, so it throws Steve for a loop when Eddie is more or less silent during sex. Maybe he's doing something wrong. He likes to think that he's decent at drawing out pleasure enough to get it to come out in different ways: a whimper, a moan, a shout, an orgasm. But maybe it's different with a guy. Maybe it's different with Eddie.

you should never underestimate what leaving a comment on somebody's art does. even if that artists may never actually see it or never responds to it, there will be people in the comments seeing the mechanics of your thoughtfulness and that in and of itself will hopefully spur on community.

blanket breed restrictions piss me the fuck off. it's the owner not the dog. my ass got bitten by a shiba inu but you don't see properties restricting them. i get it's a liability thing but it still makes me so angry bc you're not solving the issue of bad dog ownership by banning specific breeds

btw this is how i got through to my coworker who uses chatgpt. bc in the middle of writing an email that she asked both me and ai help on, i sorta just said “generating emails is making us lose grip on basic social communication” and she stepped back and went “oh”

ai dependency is crazy wdym you need help writing an email. like the whole ass email? you can’t write an EMAIL. ppl underestimate how automating everything will corrode ur skills. tact and social consideration are skills u use while writing emails that you WILL lose if you delegate everything to ai

hey btw complaining about a fan writer/artist moving on from a fandom (publicly, and even tagging them about it) isn't the way to make them want to return to the fandom. if anything, you specifically complaining about it publicly likely explains why they left in the first place. hope this helps

i always think "no its ok i can be nice and friendly at my job" but the more years of employment under my belt the more i realize the people who say "just do the minimum w/o getting fired and keep to yourself" are speaking the truth
