Number one rule of life if you’re trying to do anything with any sort of impact: do not, under any circumstances, talk to a journalist unless you personally know them, or a trusted associate can vouch for them. Every time I have broken this rule I paid for it

At some point in the past year I just stopped caring about getting cancelled literally at all. I think it was having the MIT Tech Review write a hit piece against us with doctored quotes from me directly, and then realizing after that that *nothing bad happened to me* as a result
