Today (29 October 2025) marks 100 years since the birth of Klaus Friedrich Roth.

The first British winner of the #FieldsMedal, the mathematical equivalent of the Nobel Prize, his discoveries in number theory established him one of the greatest mathematicians of the 20th century.
