I wish I had the inhibitions and care-free youthfulness of my 20’s. I’m sitting in the corner of a clothing optional event bar typing this. I don’t think it’s the age — it’s just an after-effect of being a widow. If I was with Geof, I’d be dancing on the floor with the rest of em.

I understand babies and children crying and being loud in the plane, but parents: babies don’t understand what “shhhhhhhh” means, so stop that!

I wish for the most painful death to scammers. Just a PSA: If you get a call from anybody who asks for any personal information, or even from somebody from a bank or governmental agency (especially from a fraud agency), tell them you will give them a call yourself to sort it out.

Decided to do some cooking. It’s probably been a year since I cooked for myself. I made potato fondants (home style) with goose fat, butter, and beef stock. And a perfectly done steak with just olive oil, herbs de Provence, garlic powder, balsamic glaze, and salt/pepper.

I think every widow that loved their partner feels that they were the best thing that happened to them… and in a way, the worst.

My first post on here! Woo hoo. Thanks to every one who followed me from FB today. I’m hoping to journal more of my life here. :) I don’t have much going on for awhile though, not until my trip to Florida next month and Korea in April.
