Went out for a walk yesterday morning and within a few minutes, heard a strange grinding sound, and looked up and saw about 50 Sandhills cranes flying over!

Had a lovely evening yesterday walking and taking the 56 up and down Milwaukee going to every book store trying to find any copy of Octavia Butler’s Adulthood Rites (B&N doesn’t even have a sci fi section??).
I was unsuccessful, but the frequency of bus service during rush period is a marvel
