Last night @davidpocock.bsky.social and I read onto the Hansard an interview by the President of Nauru that the Albanese Government has been desperately trying to keep secret.

It shows Nauru plans to send refugees to places they fled. No wonder the secrecy.

Australia doesn't have a gas shortage problem.

We have a gas export problem, and Australians are paying the price.

Great to see this issue being discussed in Parliament this week! #auspol

🧵One of the economists agreeing to be platformed on a podcast by a body where 1/3 directors = ethnonationalist influencer, is Samuel Gregg. Started at Centre for Independent Studies in Sydney (Atlas Network) then off to America where he has worked at the Atlas big dog partners. Acton & AIER

He is in the Mont Pelerin Society (functional steering committee of Atlas Network).

He’s also a Knight of Malta.

Note the links to other thinktanks in Latin America. All with a primary focus on nexus of where faith & the free market meet.

Also Campion College, recently exposed by SMH.

These details were revealed when Gregg received this Bradley Foundation prize, as well as Templeton. Both big dark money donors to Atlas sphere.

He probably doesn’t know the Bradleys are big donors to nativist projects too:

So the question is why this man with so much heft in the Atlas Network ecosystem allowed his cultural capital to be deployed to support this project.

Is it a sanctioned project?

The think tank director running the podcast discussed here might not know the far right records of some of his guests. But then why does he have an ethnonationalist influencer as 1 of 3 directors of this side project? Please explain it to us, Mr Ryan.
