Because I've been going by Jai for longer than I've known I was trans (and for over half my life now), it's less than there are two separate people, and more that I was able to shed a costume I didn't know I was wearing. There was a child who didn't have the words and now there's an adult who does.

I work in Qualitative Analysis (which means I read I read your open text answers on surveys and group them up into broad themes). It's great because it means I get to be professionally nosey, and it's a desk based job so I'm not eternally exhausted from being on my feet.

Honestly, the best way to make an artist’s day is by being very specific about what you like about a piece. Geek out a lil. Gush over how they use line, color, texture. Every mark is layed down by the artist, so if you can connect with those little moments, it helps the artist feel seen.

Time to share snakes!

This one was a sketch from when I was taking animal prompts from friends to stretch my anthro muscles. (I couldn't find a way to do a snake anthro that made sense so I did a Naga type situation instead!)

Everyone: Don't do that
A white Little Egret stands on rocks at the edge of the sea, its wings spread wide as it stretches one long leg forward to step down.
