In 2007 i saw Marni Nixon in Philadelphia in the #MyFairLady traveling company playing Mrs Higgins - the outrageous standing ovation she got as soon as she appeared onstage was incredible. #TCMParty #MyFairLady

Eliza’s dad is def a sleazeball, but Stanley Holloway is so incredible in the role! As a kid I found his parts boring, but they were my grandparents’ fave songs. As an adult i really get it now! He was such an innately talented music hall star; he just showed up & turned it on! #TCMParty #MyFairLady
