God of War by SkyxDaddy
“Hate me
Go ahead and hate me
You think you can break me down, down to my core
Impostors, making me a monster
Time to bloody up my sword
Like the god of war
You're making me, you're making me
The god of war”

When you’re healing from abuse, it is often necessary to break some of the patterns your abuser left you with. This writing exercise can help you to reframe these negative ideas and see the more positive truths. Give it a try. Feel free to share, if you’re comfortable.

Who is the man behind the mask? You may never know.

But masks come off. Believe survivors.
