Pastel Worthing sunset

Brighton with a rare dusting of snow this morning ❄️

No time to head onto the hills, but did manage to get a few minutes to send the drone up for a look.

A couple more shots from yesterday morning at Ditchling Beacon.

In the first one I particularly like how I managed to capture the breaking dawn at just the right point so it illuminates the clump of trees and the tops of the tufts of grass in the field. #photography

Sunrise after the super moon. Not so bad down in Brighton, but -10C windchill at Ditchling Beacon.. which I was not prepared for. Took a few snaps then sheltered behind a hedge while wishing I was at home and put the drone up instead.

I need warmer clothes 🥶

Despite living in Brighton for 25 years, I’ve never photographed the murmurations of starlings at sunset. And I still haven’t! This was in Worthing this evening, and was an incredible sight.

That plus an incredible sunset, AND the Wolf Supermoon at the same time.

Saw fog on the forecast, so up early before first light and headed onto the South Downs. Not quite as spectacular as I hoped, but not too bad.

Absolutely freezing though! 🥶 My heated gloves are more of a suggestion of what heat might be.

Finished Pluribus. I enjoyed it, but it felt like it could have easily been 3 episodes.

Up before dawn and trying something different with the drone, a bit of Brighton Palace Pier and the beach nearby.

Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

Anyone got an Android XR headset and could check something for me?

Cuckmere Haven and Coastguard Cottages from above.

Panorama taken yesterday on yet another of my insomnia-driven photography missions.

Although the lack of sleep is relentless, it has meant I’ve seen some beautiful scenery and improved my photography 😅

First light on my car at Seaford Head / Belle Tout Lighthouse / Seven Sisters / Cuckmere Haven from above.

Got to get over there at sunset at some point, bet the light on the cliffs would look great.

Woke up at 2:30 and couldn’t get back to sleep, so thought I’d head over to Seven Sisters to catch the sunrise 🌅

Beautiful morning, glad I went! I would now like to go back to sleep thanks

A few more from yesterday’s unreasonably cold morning on the frosty South Downs.

My fingers were incredibly painful from the cold, so bought heated gloves with finger-caps. Touchscreen gloves just don’t work on the drone controller 🤷‍♂️

Of course the weather immediately warms back up 🙃

Up at Devil’s Dyke for first light to catch the early morning glow on thick frost.

A frosty morning across The Weald. Lots of frozen cow pats 🐄

Didn’t stay long, too cold. Doesn’t bode well for my Iceland photography trip (not that I have one planned, maybe one day eh).

Anyone know about lighting for video? Specifically talking head + top down multi cam for YT. Wondering if this is good enough for now

I have Godox: ML100R, ES45, TL30, Smallrig RM120

I’m limited in space, oh and please ignore the Tshirt, these are my pyjamas 😂

A bank of fog rolling up the hill at Waterhall, with the sunrise shining through it. Windmill peeking through it on the left.
