Pros:
- Already halfway done and at a natural lull in the story where a break makes sense.
- I cannot leave it hanging. I must do part 2.
- Prevents a months long gap between releases.

Anyone else in a mixed fitness couple occasionally forget that your partner isn't able to do things?
It makes logical sense that my partner (Hasn't excercised in 8 years, double her original weight, ate cheesecake for breakfast) can't walk for as long as I (distance runner) can, but I forget.

If I could focus on one thing, I'd get so much more writing put out, I swear. I've got 1 thing that just needs editing passes, 1 80% done, another that's probably halfway, and my trash brain wants to start on yet another idea I think is hot.

Adding up all the calories a character is being stuffed with when writing a Craving Control style stuffing so I can mathematically make sure their weight gain is accurate is just another checkbox in the "Undiagnosed, but we're all pretty sure" category I fear.

A sad knock-on effect of the Internet being so full of AI slop is the whenever an algorithm recommends me art I need to spend a few minutes confirming a person made it.
I miss the days of just seeing something cool and being able to follow that artist without a second thought.
