People complain about isekai when it's really just a neutral trope in itself, and they probably would like a lot of joseimuke isekai, specially the "villainess" ones since they have a lot of interesting things to say about gender roles and expectations towards women.

On first morning of the new year, deepwater fishermen deliver flowers to the sea as a way of honoring "Mother of waters". Unlike traditional Loas, this deity does not have a formal representation among the zandalari, but is known by troll priests and fishermen, and is respected as a Loa.

It's not exactly what I had in mind, but for now, I'm happy with this sketch.
He is, in short, a (dead) "winter dragon"; I wanted his armor to have scales, wood/bone (you don't know exactly), and the leaves that serve as a counterpart to those on Caerisia's.
