Off to Enniskillen for the weekend. Some nice walks planned, then an Ireland game tomorrow with a pint or two in our favourite pub Blakes.

A great night at the Portrush Beer Festival despite the foul weather. Some great stuff but our favourite was the Nitro Stout from Brehon Brewhouse (not pictured!).

Calling something people in Northern Ireland will be required to have a ‘Brit card’ doesn’t sound sensible to me. Maybe it won’t be required in NI or maybe someone needs to spend 10 seconds thinking about these things before they blabber to the press.

Particularly looking forward to the Bernstein Prelude, Fugue and Riffs at the #proms tonight.

Glass of red, first night of the proms. Very nice. The Sibelius was stunning! #bbcproms

Finally saw #Hamilton tonight on the West End. Absolutely astonishing! Tears all round. A modern opera that makes 18th century politics utterly captivating and yet all the themes are still so relevant!

"The Big Man" made his entrance into the story, the photograph and the myth this week in 1975, during the cover shoot for "Born to Run." "I brought Clarence to the session because I wanted to be photographed with him," Bruce said...

This week's #cdfriday is Jeff Buckley's Grace. It must be one of my all time top 5!

Great to discover Land & Labour brewery at Boundary #jubilate. Some fantastic naturally fermented beers and their 'Geibhreagh' Gueuze was the best one of the day for me 😁

Am I the only one that thinks Google Assistant has been getting progressively worse? Even the must basic of voice commands (volume, skip tracks) now seems to result in the devices getting confused or being unable to respond.

This is ridiculous. It's just the dumbest thing I've ever seen: a nation destroying itself to prevent the sale of cheap products. We can't keep getting stupider at this pace, as a species. Within another generation or two we won't be able to speak whole sentences.

I'd forgotten the joy of listening to a CD. A whole album in the order it was intended. #music #cd
