For those who watched the US Senate HELP hearing today, the attacks on settled science & decades of data made one thing clear: the evidence that mife is safe & effective is irrefutable. Anti-abortion extremists can't compete with the robust research disproving their claims.

Another big day medication abortion policy: the Senate’s health panel is set to dive into the debate over the safety of mifepristone (spoiler: it is extremely safe!)

But because I simply *cannot* help myself, some quick facts...

❌ Don’t be fooled: Expect anti-abortion politicians at the hearing to stoke fear about women being forced to take mife against their will and cite these rare instances as a reason to ban it. But banning abortion pills won’t protect women or prevent coercion.

The case before the Supreme Court this morning is about far more than just sports.

"It has the potential to produce sweeping consequences—either aiding or devastating trans people’s ability to fight back in court when state laws and school rules discriminate against them."
Supreme Court battle over trans athletes is about so much more than sports
"It's just one part of a plan to push transgender people like me out of the public life entirely."
