My last post.

Instead of being a valuable alternative to the big social media platforms, Bluesky has proven to be flawed like the rest of them. Posting here is simply not worth my time.

The few people supporting me can keep doing so on the big socials - links in following posts.

When a Facebook account with AI-generated - and advertised as such - portraits has 26.000 followers and real artists struggle to get a few thousand, then there's definitely something wrong with this world.

After yet another discussion about abstract art, I decided to write an article about it.

Is abstract art really abstract?

And where do we draw the line? It's hard to put a label on it or even pour it into a definition, because a lot depends on perception...

I spent almost five months in an artist residence in Spain, volunteering, but also creating art. I made 31 paintings there (free story link in next post). The table was big, but not big enough, so there was only space for part of my work. That's me and my wife in the background.

If you want to be a professional artist, you have to deal with a lot of tedious crap that eats up your precious time. The art industry has some pretty f-ed up requirements.

I wrote an article about it on Medium (free link in next post).
