Well, fuck. Revoking any and all Peripeteia recommendations (and I wish I could un-back it on Kickstarter) based on the very thinly veiled transphobia from the dev (the first one in the screenshots here).

I get NPCs being distracted for stealth, but I hope 007 First Light adds some custom animations for specific distractions, so they aren't just staring at fires and water valves for 30 seconds.

And my concerns were correct. When asking them about this in support, they said roughly the same stuff they said when players were concerned about what will happen when The Crew 1's servers shut down.
In that there's no clear plans or knowledge about the game's future.

They're basically admitting and proving how it's possible for online-only games to get offline modes patched in. They just CHOOSE not to do it for certain games, regardless of how big their audience is.

So, not only are they charging for a hardware demo, but are charging for upgrades to games you already own on the Switch 1, and are charging 80 dollars for their Switch 2 titles...
People will buy it, but how many? Especially with the collapsing economy in the US right now.
