Took the first step to wean myself off Amazon & bought my Boswellia & Magnesium Glycinate supplements elsewhere 😅 Did you know Americans spend an ave. of $91.75/mo. on Amazon, and 33% think what they spend on Amazon a year is more than what's currently in their savings account?!

In an already challenging new year, I’m grateful for some good news, which is that two of my poems were published in The Nature of Our Times (online) and will be considered for a forthcoming print anthology co-edited by Luisa A. Gloria, Aileen Cassinetto, and David Hassler!

Journalists! George R.R. Martin funded a summer workshop through the Medill School of Journalism to help mid-career journalists transition to being novelists (like I did!)

I'm an instructor, and last year's workshop was mind blowing. The deadline is 1/8!

Remember the countless beautiful and loving things that happen every day that never get reported.

Bad news events aren't the only reality. We can pay attention without having our vision skewed to seeing only the negative.
