I feel like the world is burning. Everything today is chaotic and uncomfortable, even work. I realize the cocktails won't solve the problem, but it feels like a night for cocktails.

I'm feeling fragile emotionally and physically today. Joel struggled in the night with pain and it was a reminder of how delicate this life is. 4 years ago he saved my life when I collapsed and it feels like yesterday and a million years ago at the same time. (1)

Went and had my annual exam. So far: I'm anemic and I have carpal tunnel. PT is also ordered for my shoulders (again). It's finally snowing here, although I don't imagine it will stay long. Now would be the perfect time for a huge blizzard since I'm on medical leave for at least another 3 weeks.

Volunteer appreciation dinner tonight for CHAPS. I enjoy my time with the horses. Several of my clients receive services there. Working with veterans & taking animals to long term care communities. Tonight I was asked if in interested in doing some training with mental health. 🐎🧡
