DEI and quotas are undemocratic. So are bailouts, bribery, campaign contributions, cronyism, dark pools, front-running, grants, insider trading, legacy admissions, nepotism, networking, regressive taxation, sinecures, tax deductions, and tax waivers. Merit is democratic.

Notice: So that our employees can spend Valentine's Day at home with their families, the café will close early.

Your selfish genes want to have sex as often as possible, to produce a child every 10 months, to eat to obesity, to destroy rivals, to hunt or husband all other species, to tap and exhaust every natural resource, and to dispose of refuse over the shoulder or into a body of water. 1/2

College defaults to paying the old to regurgitate, rather than selling the young a place to learn. Kekulé visualized the benzene ring while on public transportation, Newton conceived calculus during a Black Death shutdown of Cambridge, Kary Mullis thought of PCR while on vacation, Einstein...

The Enlightenment (Rousseau, Voltaire, Locke) and the unreachable goal of fairness have expired. The replacement mindspace welcomes the Christianity wealth cult, Fight Club militarism, MBA amorality, software socializing, techno-drooling, and with-or-against politics.

Biographical Bias

I have little interest in non-forensic biographies of people whose name I already know. I don't want to read about luck and legacies. I want to discover and experience the best efforts of the species. I want to learn how people failed unfairly.

Perhaps, after we imprison the orangetan, we can resolve the problems that his puppeteers dared to broach (open borders, trade deficits, quotas)--but we can do so legally and by referenda, rather than by bribery and misrepresentative government. v2

Rather than feel, posture, and pose, do the math. The US can have open borders or Medicare for all, but not both.

Unselfish genes would augment the universe's accumulation of knowledge, winnow and minimize leaders, and naturally select toward an equilibrium between fauna and compost.

Today another huge crowd of conservatives rallied against other people.

We don't expect you to pass calculus, organic chem, and physics E&M, but we do need you to think correctly about Bismarck's national health care, chromosomes, electoral collages, enslaving lower species, melaninism, pharmacology, probability, shrapnel, viruses, and ZPG. If you can't, seek help.

USers are reaping the harvest from 3 generations of cults, entertainment, grade inflation, networking, perquisites, quotas, self-medication, sexual deregulation, and sloppy thinking; from the continuance of alcohol and legacies; and from a resurgence in melaninism and suppression of heterodoxy.

Let the flavors/variants of AI compete in drawing blindly objective districts for the US House. Algorithms should determine the smallest possible total perimeters for all the House districts in each state. v3

When the orangetan and his Repugnant Partyers lose, we will need a national reset, reconstruction, and restoration greater in magnitude than the overthrow of Bolshevism, the Cromwells, or the Confederacy of Dunces.

Do the rich obey any laws?

Has anyone (other than José Mujica and Thomas Sankara) been powerful but not rich?

Homo sapients' biggest flaw is leaders--allowing them at all, and the types who reach the top. Leaders were not necessary for medical, scientific, and technical breakthroughs. Deer do not set broken legs or send fawns to concentration camps. Chimps conduct wars (Goodall 1974).

General strikes must put people in public rather than hurt neighbors' businesses, jeopardize jobs, ignore essential services, or risk jail for disobeying misrepresentatives. Boycott replaceable octopi: Amazon...Walmart. Support co-ops, Linux, OpenOffice. Gather at capitals and Capitols. v2

I'll go on strike for national health care, against illegal policing, for progressive taxation, against monopolies, for impeaching the Repugnant Party, for federal referenda, and against unconstitutional tariffs and wars--but not for quotas or for people here illegally. Duh!

"Placed on leave" is not good enough. We want "suspended indefinitely without pay."

Nuttyahoo & Putrid: If you are more effective at destroying infrastructure than people, then what do you hope to conquer? You dislike the existing residents, they dislike you, and your Lebensraum will occupy crowded rubble. Your weapons are the dumb inverse of neutron bombs.

Until I find a better gauge, especially a way to rate the misdemeanors and felonies, murder is my measure of morality and criminality--international, federal, state, and local. I count children, mothers, and draftees equally. I discount other species, including pets.

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara: "People have had enough. This is the third shooting in less than 3 weeks. The MPD went the entire year last year recovering about 900 guns from the street, arresting hundreds of violent offenders, and we didn't shoot anyone ... this is not sustainable."

The US voted for 4 senile presidents and a carnival of corruption in Congress. Causes include conspiracy theories (religion/CEOs), entertainment before research, mechanistic monetarism (crypto), recombination (children), and a lack of Cincinnati or even Eisenhowers. Confront cortical deficiency!

The US choices are reminiscent of late-stage Athens and the Roman Empire: either survivable union wages for all, migratory noncitizen servants, or DIY ditch digging by detachments of academicians (nod to Chomsky), cubists, and couch creatures (such as myself now).
