Beledo, and ‘Flotando en el vacio’ (2024, CD). Wonderful release, and he is busy organising the recording of another album for release this year. Brilliant ensemble (see alt text). Wonderful compositions and playing. Big fan here. 😎

Bruce Soord S/T debut solo album (2015 CD) less rock than The Pineapple 🍍 Thief but holds a lot of interest if you like his writing and production skills 😎

A little something for the weekend, and arrived for the weekend. 4K restoration of John Carpenter’s ‘They Live’ (1988, 2018, Blu Ray). All good 😊

New to me, a really nice album to start the day off, Michael A. Muller ‘Mirror Music’ (2024, Tidal). A really engaging listen this one, and need to get back to it as lots of layering and textures here keeping my interest and attention. 😎

Marconi Union, ‘TFONLRMX’ (2026, Tidal) with Pye Corner Audio and Carbon Based Lifeforms. A bit of an IDM EP remix of ‘The Fear of Never Landing’ from 2025. Nice release. Unexpected too.

Bruce Soord again, this time, the introspective ‘All This Will be Yours’ (2019, CD). Some beautiful inspired writing again. And of course the amazing production …

Played as my way to work train journey this morning. Gaupa, another excellent album, ‘Myriad’ (2022, Tidal). @flyfishingfrankers.bsky.social definitely holds up with other releases I’ve heard. It isn’t as heavy, but still the right side of it for me 😎

3 albums is great & all, but these 4 are about as good as it gets. Would have included Mr Beast & Hawk Is Howling too if Bsky let me post 6 pictures. Best band.

This is on the shelf, John Higgs, ‘Exterminate, Regenerate, the Story of Doctor Who’ (2025). Salivating at the prospect, as this is more than just a narrative of a TV programme apparently, which is the sort of approach I usually enjoy very much 😎

Lovely album(s), Amanda Whiting, ‘After Dark’ (2021) and ‘Lost in Abstraction’ (2022) on the one disc (2025 issue).
Spiritual jazz with beautiful melodic phrasing, and exquisite compositions and audio. Loving it 🥰

Such a wonderful album, fell in love with it on a first listen. Bruce Soord, ‘Luminescence’ (2023, CD). His third solo album, and my favourite, even though the others are also excellent. One of those albums as well where the production takes your breath away too

Told that this uncut and therefore longer version is by far the one to watch. Which I will be doing very soon. Kingdom of Heaven, Ridley Scott (2005, 2006 Blu Ray release)

Gaia Banfi’s ‘La Maccaia’ (2025, Tidal). Enjoyed this one, tipped by @blueskiesecho.bsky.social and my train journey home soundtrack. Very relaxing too
