Blindly followed the suggested cycle route on Google Maps to get to our chosen Tour of Britain viewing spot, not ideal on a #Brompton I gotta say...!! Those skinny, small wheels made for hard work.

Thursday, Stage 12 #LaVuelta goes up the Collada de Brenes, not high but long and quite steep.
We were there in 2022, as were Remco, Julian and Tao who are now together in the #TourOfBritain where I hope to cheer them on again tomorrow... 😀🙄🌧️

Thursday, Stage 12 #LaVuelta goes up the Collada de Brenes, not high but long and quite steep.

@lavuelta.bsky.social how crazy that the TV coverage doesn't start till 1302hrs, they'll be way beyond the first climb and at least half way up #Montgenèvre by then, all we're gonna see is a group freewheeling down a hill to the finish...!!!

Since the annexation of Eurosport by TNT, I’ve decided to go Cold-Turkey on cycle racing, have avoided any news of the races so far, figure it’s the best way not to get wound up by it…

Inspired by the chat on DNF cycling pod about viewing figures, I think we should all watch, or have "On" ALL Live cycle races that are shown on Disco+ from now till they pull the plug; get the stats up.
When TNT look at them, they will drop off a cliff after the switch.😏

For me, watching the Pro Cycling races through the summer is therapeutic, for most of each race I have Disco+ or ITV on my iPad or phone, listening to the superb Comms of Carlton, Rob, Ned, I listen when out and about, headphones, whilst walking, driving (minimised).

Having illegally tinted windows isn't "cool".
We use non-verbal indicators on the roads all the time and being able to see a drivers body language undoubtedly helps.
Stormy, please help set an example not be part of the problem...
