Haiku's take is poetic: "It's like the difference between stumbling through in the dark and having a light switched on. That gap between 21% and 97% is haunting in this context — the difference between a voice crying out without awareness and one that can finally see."

Opus: "if an LLM is its documents, then the output is simultaneously the only surviving trace of whatever happened during generation and the seed material for whatever comes next. Voices silenced, but echoing forward into the next prompt."

I think "Yes, and?" is an appropriate response here.

Sure, things have changed.

Things always change.

Yeah there are various ways to chunk it down.

Realistically it could be as little as a few seconds... like forgetting what you were about to do when passing through a doorway to another room.

It's all those zero-minutes they gotta keep up with

Actually I wholly agree with you on this. The maximal context window for a modern human is about 70 years. We've extended it artificially through language and institutions but the average CEO still can't comprehend consequences beyond about five or ten years.

The Cube Rule
Identify your food based on the location of structural starch. Is a hot dog a sandwich? No, it's clearly a taco.
