1. Tesla is a marginal car maker in the overall market, and shrinking
2. EV sales are still growing but still not as fast as hoped and needed.
3. Kia and Hyundai are growing fast in the EV market
(note, this is the small Irish market...2025 so far. HT to Adrian Weckler)

Three things here....

Here's another sad example of why I really dislike fireworks unless they're in a professionally set up fireworks show. This young boy was seriously injured by a firework someone had left lying around, partially exploded. He was unfortunate to find it....

There seem to be a lot of voices in the last few days repeating how "China's CO2 emissions are up so it's pointless for Europe/USA to do anything." Sure...they're up since 1990...and may have peaked.

It happens in Northern Europe in the summer, pretty often - but only in the wholesale market. And far from all the time - yet. And we're still a long way from solving the longer term "dunkelflaute" (spelling?) problem. But still....turn the AC up?!?
