My daughter has Down Syndrome. A weekend highlight for her was visiting Tablespoons Bakery and seeing people like her working in her community. She will be heading there this weekend to visit her friends one last time before they close.

Don’t worry parents. The cult 47 moms in one of my IEP/Special Education support groups have the answer. If your state is not doing right by your kid, just move. 🙄

Hey “Back to the states” crowd. Standards of learning and curriculum is ALREADY determined at the state level. What exactly do you think is being “sent back?” It sure as hell won’t be funding.
