I usually agree with Sen Warren but she is off base with shutting down the government to give med care to the under privileged, that will further ire the people we are trying to bring into the fight. Everyone will eventually get screwed by DJT and get them on our side when he crashes the economy

Probably not popular, but Dems need to approve the budget and not shut down the government. The economy is going to crash either way, if they shut it down then they own the crash. Approve the budget and let the Republicans own the crash. Let the country see what the cost of DJTs economy is.

What worries me right now is that the Republicans/MAGAs are not acting like a group that wants to get re-elected. Inflicting pain on your constituents and telling them to f-off does not make sense unless you want to get approval from dear leader, not people that should have the power to remove you.

B) The vast majority of elected Dems have coalesced around protecting and pleasing their donors.

I’ve given up hope that the DNC is ever going to do anything, therefore they get no money from me, I’m donating to Leaders We Deserve. At minimum, they are young people trying to save the future and not the corporate shills currently populating that only care about their personal power and wealth.

Talarico made the point that “if republican policies are popular, why do they need to to redraw these maps? Why can’t they just run on their policies. Conversely, if dems had policies that the voters liked, it wouldn’t matter what the maps looked like. Mamdani won because of his policies.
