Roads were wet to partially covered for 35e Maryland to 94, 94 from 35e to 61, and 61 south from 94 to Jamaica. Accident in the left lane of 61 south just after 80th Street, crews on scene. Air temps at ~75cm agl ( car sensor) were 26-28f the way down. #mnwx #msptraffic

meanwhile, there was a volcanic eruption in Ethiopia about 36 hrs ago near the collision zone between the African & Arabian plates. ash plumes ~14km high. volcanic ash reported in Oman, Yemen, northern Pakistan, & northern India. and this volcano, first eruption in over 12000 years.

the only good news out of this, there now is a slight chance MNUFC may host the MLS Cup Final if they win their next 2 games & NYCFC beat Miami next week.
