Yesterday, House Majority Leader Rep. Joe Fitzgibbon prefiled an amendment to the Washington State Constitution that, if passed during the upcoming legislative session, would allow mid-cycle redistricting of the state's congressional map when another state does so first.
Meanwhile, finders keepers, losers weepers is the name of the game if young testifiers have their way and Washington adopts the sixgill as the official state shark (HB 2447).

👉 Feb. 4 – Last day for bills to be passed out of policy in their house of origin (fiscal cutoff is Feb. 9)
👉 Feb. 25 – Last day to pass bills out of their house of origin (fiscal cutoff is March 2)
👉 March 6 – Last day for opposite house action
👉 March 12 – Session adjourns
