The City of Duvall did not follow the requirement to plan for ALL income levels unfortunately. That’s why we appreciate the Department of Commerce for stepping in to uphold this law and hold cities accountable to the housing goals we set together.

As of last Thursday, November 6, DSHS began distributing SNAP benefits for the month of November – which is great news for folks who rely on this benefit for sustenance.

After 43 days, the federal government has reopened. While Washington state will continue to have to contend with the effects of Trump's H.R. 1 on SNAP benefits, we are happy to share the bill signed into law funds the federal SNAP program through September 2026.
