A key to world peace? Youth exchange. Houston area Rotary Clubs welcomed 8 high school students from 8 different countries to spend a year as ambassadors for their countries and learning about ours. First up, learning to line dance together!

Had a great trip to Alaska. Denali came out for us. We had perfect weather. Kayaked from the small "uncruise" ship. Witnessed grizzlies and glaciers. And had two glorious weeks mostly disconnected.

Breaking: Federal immigration authorities on Monday planned to conduct a targeted operation on "criminals & illegal immigrants" in Colony Ridge, a housing development outside of Houston, Gov. Greg Abbott said.

The Colony Ridge development has long been under scrutiny from conservative lawmakers, think tanks and influencers who cast it as a hotbed for undocumented immigrants and cartel crime.
