The outcome is not the same thing as the process. Just because learning results in changes in memory doesn't mean that retrieving information is all you focus on. Motivation matters! If you want children and young people to love learning you have to help them understand that it's joyful. ☺️ #EduSky

Now, do I attempt to explain the epistemological & ontological perspectives of an emerging pedagogical approach (that doesn't even have a clear definition yet) or do I go to the gym?

Alfie once again says neither because it's almost #Caturday!😻

It's officially #FreireFriday as I'm about to tackle the critical pedagogy section of my theoretical framework thesis chapter!

But I am NOT allowing myself to open this book*, because I can never put it down...

I'm actually giving myself a lunch break from the thesis today.

Is it worth checking the news?

Or would I be best sticking to the thesis exploring the socio-environmental issues of the capitalist fashion system? 👀

What a remarkable young man!
A true hero and well deserving of the Chief Constable's Commendation award for his bravery. 🙌

Can we just turn US politics off for the weekend and have more news like this please?!

As an ex-free school meal kid, working 16+yrs in education witnessing the economic v's education attainment gap, this is really worrying!💔

I shouldn't love this as much as I do. But socio-economic politics combined with maps? What's not to love?

Comments are highly recommended too!

After another 11hrs at the screen today (L6 marking), I'm officially incapable of spelling the word "participants". Which is problematic if* I aim to do some thesis writing tomorrow!

Largely because of the message on this t-shirt I customised, inspired by the words of the incredible Caryn Franklin, but also because I have a bloody thesis to write!
