This right here. If I get a writer's block or I don't want to break my flow to look something up, I will write [cucumber] and just keep going. Cucumber isn't a regularly used word and makes it easy to find in a document to go back and look for it. And cucumbers are better than AI placeholders
Adding to this from my more limited writing perspective, typing in random placeholder words is INFINITELY better than even considering AI. It helps train your brain to type—even if it’s nothing—when you’re struggling with writers block or whatever. It forces you into the habit of making shit happen.
Stop using AI for placeholder assets.
Use sketches. Use lorem ipsum. Use bright pink materials. Use programmer art for fucks sake, literally anything else.
If your studio is using AI even for temp, even if they think they've covered their tracks, SPEAK UP because people WILL FIND IT
