Seeking my niche among readers for the series Sisters of the Druidhood and the book Turncoat Witches.
I knew it was going to be bad, but I didn't believe it would be like living under the Cruciatus Curse. Suffer unless you capitulate!

The Color Purple by Alice Walker ~ To me, it's an epitome of great literature. Enlightenment of a different world. A story that opens our eyes to harsh truths and the resilience needed to survive.

At our house, the main source of nonfiction reading was the World Book Encyclopedias. However, my parents subscribed to National Geographic, which I recall liking its eye-opening articles on exotic sites and all sorts of wild animals. A nice memory!

Being the youngest of four siblings, I received a lot of hand me downs, and books were one of them. In having two older brothers my options were mostly from Franklin W Dixon's, The Hardy Boys series. I can't complain, because I did enjoy their mystery adventures. I still like a good mystery novel.

Two books really stuck with me. My first horror book was Green Eggs and Ham—I was a finicky eater. :) Then Charlotte's Web. The mix of unexpected friendships brought about a fun, warm adventure, while the suspense and tension of saving Wilbur created an engaging thriller.

Hi. I'm Fay. I'm not sure how I became a reader. It seems like an intuitive thing I enjoy. I like how you can go on an adventure and burrow into the minds of others. Now, I write. It's something I've always desired to do, and now, being older, I have the time to do it. It's a passion.

Back in the day, I qualified for the Child Tax Credit, and I claimed it. It allowed me to squeak by financially and enroll in courses to get a better-paying job, and in the end, I paid higher taxes, superseding the received benefit. I look back on it as a hand-up, not a hand-out—a win for everyone!

Why not both? Sometimes one might like a little Christmas in their Halloween, or vice versa—some spookiness in their Christmas.
On this day in 1993, #TheNightmareBeforeChristmas by #TimBurton hit US cinemas! Critics and fans acclaimed it, with the question being - is it a #Halloween or a #Christmas film?

Reagan clears the fuzziness surrounding trade barriers.
Spoiler alert: Tariffs are a quick tool for political advantage but ultimately destroys prosperity and economic growth, hurting American workers and consumers.
So they didn’t like the ad. Let’s just post Reagan’s 5 min speech against tariffs as it appears on YouTube.

Over and over. On all platforms (some of y’all are still on X).

It's interesting how lives transform when people mingle with strangers... or dare I say with ghosts, witches, and humans.

I just got a glimpse of a posting where a sweet orangutan was hugging a child, so I feel the need to apologize to the ape community and praise their emotional intelligence. You do not deserve this angst.

“Sure, I’ll give you some space... You know, Valerie is in a yachting phase, and I told her I would go out sailing with her and our sisters.”

“Have fun frolicking with the fishermen. Be #careful when you take them off the hook. They do tend to bite.” Margot snorts with an obnoxious, cranky laugh.

I wish when Republicans say that they would like to overhaul Obamacare, the response would go something like this: That's terrific. You do have a replacement plan for Obamacare, right? Where can we get the details? We all hope and dream for better things, but it takes a real plan to become reality.
