Everyone is saying “but he can’t be pope” like that stopped Henry VIII from inventing his own church and then declaring himself the leader...

Today's fit. I got out of my comfort zone with a crop shirt. I'm very self conscious about my B shaped stomach and usually prefer longer/baggier shirts that cover my waist and hips. I've gained a lot of weight lately and am having issues feeling connected to my body now.

Today took more of me than I had to give. Dealing with trauma as a parent, especially as a parent of a young child, is incredibly tough. I'm using a few minutes to relax before bed, and I have a game plan to hopefully go easy on myself tomorrow, as much as the toddler will allow.

Cory Booker just gave the longest speech in the history of Congress and concluded by apologizing to everyone who had to stay up all night keeping the chamber open and operating.

They said it couldn't be done. But I did it. I made a chili thicker than the family thighs.

You're telling me THIS WHOLE TIME that "killer whales" AKA orcas were never actually whales, but DOLPHINS???

AND NO ONE THOUGHT TO TELL ME THIS IN MY 33 YEARS OF LIFE?

I just read about it and I think it's brilliant.

A house bag with all the stuff you want with you around the house. Whatever you find yourself needing. And you just carry it with you to different parts of your house. It just makes things accessible, and is great if you have issues with movement.

So I learned last night that strong storms at night absolutely scare the shit out of me, whereas in the day I am cool and calm. Because for some reason, even the thought of not being able to see the sky makes it so much worse. Yes, I know you can't always see tornadoes coming, but still.
