Heads-up the Midway at the FREX is closed today and tomorrow. More than a few families wandering the barren grounds with confused ( at best ) or tearful kiddos. The petting zoo and agricultural aspects are open as does appear to be the Dippy Dog stand.

Posting this again as the impacts of wildfires are more acutely felt in our own backyard. Proud of my cousin ( who has been in the fire service his entire working life) for starting this initiative: treesonfireapparel.com

Found an incredible cottage to rent in NS. You have a 10 minute hike in. Enough solar power for lamps in the evening. Lots of fresh water waiting and an ice box. But wait there is more... a tower, stained glass windows, wood panels from Stanton Island! Just what the Doctor ordered.

Excited to see so many of my colleagues in @asd-west.bsky.social mark this important accomplishment. It is humbling to be part of a profession surrounded by minds that are eager to themselves learn, grow, and better our collective work.
