I think a guy kicked himself out of the bar in shame tonight
there was a trans woman singing karaoke and guy came up to me and said "did you know that's a dude"
and I replied "no, that's a trans woman. which is a woman. don't misgender my patrons" and dude started to say "no no I didn't mean-"

If you think it/its pronouns are dehumanising, congratulations you've understood why I use them
I can fucking promise you that if somebody is saying to refer to them with it/its pronouns it’s because they actually want to be referred to that way and I can also fucking promise you that they do not want to hear you lecture them about how degrading you think their preferred pronouns are to them.

i get why this is common consensus but ppl being like "the steam controller is kinda ugly but the functionality is great!" makes me shake my head. i think it looks beautiful. shes so unique and tall. the thumbsticks look shiny gorgeous. the slight rotation on the trackpads is so playful.
