I played Hugo in Bye Bye Birdie in 8th grade, I finally got to see it live at the Kennedy Center in 2024. My wife and I saw Ramin Karimloo and Karen Olivo perform Chess there in 2018. Nobody’s Side brought the house down. We saw Norm Lewis and Jessie Mueller in The Music Man. It was a great show

I bought this comic at Kings Dominion in VA on a church field trip and read it three times on the bus trip home. Simonson FF is like mainlining Kirby. Put it in my veins. (Also, no one in my family is Catholic anymore yet I still had to be confirmed. Still big mad about that one)

I’ve been thinking about this, and the only thing Hama got wrong is how dumb it would all be. There‘s no Destro, no Tomas and Xamot. It’s like Roadpig as figurehead, with Cobra Commander as Homeland Sec adv, and then oops all Dreadnoks. And not the smart ones either. An army of Rippers and Thrashers

I feel the same way about Stranger Things as I do about Cloverfield. Both would have been vastly improved by Voltron showing up at the end, slicing the monster in half and flying off back into space

I refuse to believe any self respecting teenager in 1987 would choose “Rockin Robin” as an on-air handle. I was in elementary school and I didn’t like that 50s nostalgia nonsense anymore. I wanted to listen to Bobby Brown and Debbie Gibson

Grabbed The Startling Tales of Santa Claus this week b/c it’s Christmas and I like Benito Cereno. Seakae makes beautiful art but a little goes a long way for me, and I could have done without the bathroom humor but I loved the last story. Idk if it was worth 10 bucks but I don’t regret buying it
