Pre-operative use of GLP-1s is known to delay gastric emptying, but does that translate to an increased risk of pulmonary aspiration?

This systematic review and meta-analysis suggests NO.

Our systematic review dives into its use as an endpoint in RCTs, uncovering the surprising variability in definitions, timing, and handling of missing data.

It's time to take a fresh look at the SOFA score!

Hey everyone! Incredible news!

Trans Scouts selling GS cookies this year on my list have sold over 50,000 boxes of GS cookies!

If you want girl scout cookies, consider buying from a trans girl scout this year! They'll mail them to you!

This is literally my fav thing to do every year :)
1. Did you know that Girl Scouts has, for a long time, accepted trans girls and nonbinary scouts?

Trans kids are under attack. Every year, I make a thread of trans and nonbinary girl scouts you can get your cookies from.

Lets get our cookies from them this year in solidarity!

I’m a casual user of Tik Tok here in the United States. I acknowledge that it is the “empty calories” of how one can spend time. I think that politicians tried to make political hay of bashing/banning it and those chickens are absolutely coming home to roost tomorrow if it goes dark.
