Left vs. right discourse has officially devolved to the “You’re all pedophiles” “No, YOU’RE all pedophiles” level of intellectual rigor. Got accused of being obsessed with “kids’ genitals” today on Bluesky for offering tentative skepticism of gender-affirming treatment for minors. No better than X.

American cities cannot be revived as attractive for families without extremely draconian treatment of criminals, junkies, and the mentally ill. Reintroduce vagrancy laws and a lot of people will find cities far more palatable. Prioritize the needs of normal functional people over human bio-trash.

Also want to try and reverse some of my own radicalization. Hope to use Bluesky to return to having mutually open-minded conversations with libs - something that’s been missing from my life since at least 2020. I want to reacquaint myself with the best (and least inflammatory) arguments they have.

I voted for Trump b/c I believe that the Dem. Party is committed to being as wrong as possible on the three most important issues of our time: crime, mass immigration, and equity. I hope I can make my case to persuadable libs/left-centrists, to remake the party into something I can rejoin someday.
