A Royal Navy 1st rate launched in 1795. Her name comes from the French flagship, captured at the Battle of the Saintes in 1782. The Royal Navy sometimes adopted names of foreign ship that had fought well.

Conjectural reconstruction of the peaceful sixth-century monastery at Kingarth, Isle of Bute - at least peaceful until the Vikings arrived. It is said to have been founded by the Irish monk Cathan (Catan or Cattan), but the site is more commonly associated with his nephew, St Blane (Irish Bláán).

Dunstanburgh Castle is as close to taking a pilgrimage as there is for landscape photographers.
