The article states: "President Joe Biden lost re-election in part because of voter frustration about high costs." That is not an accurate statement. Maybe he dropped from the race in part bc of high costs? (Even that's arguable.) But he definitely didn't "lose re-election."

Game shows about groceries ate the all time classics. Someone should make new ones about the new drivers of consumer spending (rent, health care, childcare, etc).
It’s an old-fashioned word, but it’s a beautiful term. It’s sort of a bag with different things in it.
Narrative violation: grocery spending as a percent of total consumer spending just hit a new record low.
