The Golden Heart is a two bar pub which that has one of the best surviving examples of Truman’s 1930s decor. The pub also has a Wurlitzer Jukebox.

Our Woodward collection also contains works by some of his contemporaries, such as this print by Thomas #Rowlandson from 1811. What better way to celebrate enduring love than by gently - or not so gently - snoring together 😴

Folks, the lovely @cemeteryclub.bsky.social chap Sheldon and I have started a tour company. It’ll be running museum and London tours coupled with pubs where possible. We’ve called it ‘How to do History’, because frankly, history is best done with a beer, most of the time. Do give us a follow.
Well we are live. First tours under the HtdH umbrella have taken place and we’re getting a lovely reception. A combination of Total War arriving in London and a few pubs along the way to kick off. Next stop the National Gallery on Sunday. ❤️
