Famous ghost-hunter Harry Price (who features in the piece) lived in Pulborough near me and I sometimes drive past his old house, there was a bell hung outside his home that was reputed to be the Borley Bell from the Rectory but is now long gone.

Defending The Thames – Hadleigh Castle. The castle dates back to 1215, when King John gave Hubert de Burgh land around the village. He constructed the first castle on the site to demonstrate his position in the country and ownership of the Manor. More at alondoninheritance.com/the-thames/d...
