This week our Law, History & Politics Society began prep for our first student-led (thank you to my amazing 6th Formers!) mock trial of the year. Alongside the excitement of debating and challenging ideas, we have placed language, oracy and literacy at the heart of what we do.

Historian E.P. Thompson had very little time for counterfactuals, labelling them ‘unhistorical *%#*’. 😮
That notwithstanding (!), some of the greatest pedagogic utility I have leveraged out of AI / LLMs thus far has been to generate counterfactuals as starter activities. #AI
