I'm used to being in the paper, it's an occupational hazard for me. But today when I got up and saw the front page, there's a huge picture of me taking up practically half the page! For someone who really shuns the spotlight, it was super uncomfortable.

We have a vibrant African American community nearby, and they put on an amazing Juneteenth festival today. As my wife and I were enjoying the events, a pair of LDS missionaries walked in, BoM in hand, doing the hard sell. To their credit, they quickly read the room and quietly left.
